Nature of Our Items

 

All items offered for sale are pre-owned, vintage, or previously owned collectibles, regardless of appearance or perceived condition, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the item description.

Our stock is sourced from private collections, former retail displays, discontinued product lines, long-term storage, clubs, estates, and individual owners. Many items are several decades old, including items dating from the 1950s through to the 1970s and beyond. Age, originality, and history are inherent characteristics of vintage and collectible items and form part of their appeal.

Due to their age and prior ownership, items may show signs of wear, ageing, patina, handling, repair, restoration, modification, or fragility. Vintage items should not be expected to match the condition, durability, finish, safety standards, or performance of modern manufactured products.

Condition, Functionality & Completeness

 

All items are sold as described and as shown in the photographs.

Descriptions are prepared in good faith and based on visual inspection and information reasonably available at the time of listing. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the item description:

• Items may be incomplete

• Items may be untested

• Items may be non-functional

• Accessories, stands, bodies, joints, paint, decals, packaging, or components may show wear, damage, ageing, repairs, or previous modifications

Any known major faults or defects identified at the time of listing will be disclosed in the item description. Buyers are responsible for carefully reviewing all photographs and written descriptions before purchasing.

Intended Use & Safety Notice

 

Vintage and collectible items are generally sold for display, collection, or historical interest. They may not comply with current Australian or international safety standards and may not be suitable for children. Items may contain small parts, fragile materials, or age-related deterioration.

Buyer Acknowledgement & Returns

 

By purchasing from our store, the buyer acknowledges the nature of pre-owned and vintage goods and accepts that age-related wear, cosmetic imperfections, historical inconsistencies, and prior use are normal and expected.

Change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or dissatisfaction based on age, condition, appearance, or vintage characteristics do not constitute grounds for a return or refund, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.

International Buyers

 

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country. These costs are not included in the item price or postage charges. Please check with your local customs authority prior to purchasing.

Postage / Shipping

 

We ship both domestically and internationally. Combined postage is available where applicable.

All parcels are sent using tracked postage via registered or tracked air mail. A tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Postage charges are based on carrier rates at the time of shipment and include packaging and handling. Any clearly identified additional shipping costs (such as oversized items or remote destinations) will be communicated prior to dispatch.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to postal services, couriers, customs processing, or factors beyond our control.

Packaging

 

Every effort is made to ensure items are securely packaged and appropriately protected for transit, with consideration given to their age and fragility.

Due to the nature of vintage and pre-owned items, we cannot guarantee against damage caused by postal or courier handling once an item has been dispatched.

Dispatch

 

Orders are generally dispatched within 3 business days of cleared payment, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Returns & Refunds

 

Due to the nature of pre-owned and vintage items, returns and refunds are not accepted for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or unmet expectations, including expectations relating to age, condition, or appearance.

Refunds or returns will only be offered where required under Australian Consumer Law, including where an item is significantly not as described.

Any issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery, supported by clear photographs of the item and packaging.

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or charges imposed by their country. These costs are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
